Okay, confession number 1: I’m not the the biggest watermelon fan. Confession number 2: This weekend went by so quickly that I didn’t dedicate much time to preparing this post, so instead I snapped a picture of what I obsessively ate this weekend. Don’t judge me!
It was pretty hot this weekend. Well, hot for bay area weather, which isn’t saying much for someone like me who still clearly remembers Texas weather, but still hot enough to crave something cool!
And, though I could eat ice cream all day long, the weather reminded me of childhood summers and eating fruit salad on the front porch. This fruit salad isn’t the healthiest, but it’s easy, fresh, and super delicious.
Summer is right around the corner, which means bbqs and dinner parties galore! Shrimp stuffed avocados with mango salsa are an easy and quick appetizer. I’m a big fan of avocados and I’m always looking for new ways to eat them, though I admit they’re delicious on their own.
